November 7th is International Merlot Day…and yes there is a day for most grape varietals…go figure.  The Wine Shop is offering 10% off on all Merlot this week.

I had this Merlot from Emmolo at a tasting last week….it was amazing. I’m getting a bottle soon to enjoy. I believe you can pick it up at Riverside Wine.

The Wine Shop is also doing a tasting today with David Almeida of Winesellers, Ltd. Importing & Marketing will be there from 4-8pm to teach us about his wines:
Santa Julia, Gran Passione, Mont Gravet, & La Fiera.
