Domiane Du Margalleau Vouvray sec 2011

This is a great producer in the Loire Valley, high quality wine and really enjoyable to drink.  Light straw color, bright and clear in color.  On the nose the wine smells of green herbs, light floral, green peas, mineral and lemon citrus.  As with most Chenin Blanc the wine has some weight and feel in the mouth, with nice acid and citrus fruits. Really well balanced between the grassy earth notes and fruit.

If you pull it from the fridge, be sure to let it warm a bit to experience all the wine has to offer. This wine is ready to drink now, no reason to let it sit around.

Region – Vouvray, Loire Valley, France

Varietal – Chenin Blanc

Importer – North Berkley Imports

Purchased from – Riverside Wine, Chattanooga TN
